Where to begin...It was an amazing time. Kenji, Ka, and Lina are the best tour managers.
We learned a lot, but still had so much fun. They showed genuine friendship and made every effort to make a bunch of strangers feel like family at the end of the trip. I know I didn't want to go home!!!
The itinerary was great. We saw so many iconic sites and had SOOOO much food and drink. I had a lot of my bucket list items checked off for this trip.
I plan on joining another of Kenji's tours and hope that Ka and Lina will be there too!
I wanted to send a special shout out to Ka for helping me around the medical system.
I got injured prior to the group tour and was unable to get my prescription filled by the time our tour was beginning. Ka was able to help me contact a pharmacy near where I was staying so that I could get them.
You will never know how grateful I am to her!
I have already recommended Kenji and Goodmate travel to all of my friends who want to go to South Korea. I felt the tour price was reasonable considering it included hotel stay, transportation and most of our meals. Then of course the wonderful sites we went to and Kenji's knowledge of South Korea, it's culture, food, and his own personal insite and experiences, made for a trip I will never forget! Well worth the experience!
The tour managers are people who will remain dear to my heart. The people I met are fast becoming good friends. Hopefully we can book a tour together again. We are already planning a year follow-up on this group's WhatsApp chat.

Our tour guides were absolutely amazing! Ka and Lina were just wonderful. The transportation was always smooth. the sites and foods on the tour were amazing. I would definitely recommend Good Mate travel especially if you are a solo traveler that doesn’t want to quite go solo.

The experience was amazing! Better than we ever imagined. Kenji packed in the best activities leaving us with wonderful memories. We were able to check off so many things on our South Korea bucket list!! From Seoul to Busan, day and night., not a single minute was wasted. We are already making a new bucket list and plan to travel again with Kenji and Goodmate!

I had an awesome experience! Everyone was professional, attentive, and knowledgeable. The tour hit almost all of my desired experiences in Korea. I highly recommend it.

I just returned from the "More Than Seoul" tour and it was exactly what I wanted! Small group to travel with and visiting 4 cities that I haven't been to...Jecheon, Gwanju, Ulsan, and Tongyeong! All cities were smaller and were located more in the countryside and seaside. We ate a lot of delicious food that each city specialized in...Jecheon with healing herbs and foods, Gwanju temple food which was simple yet delicious, Ulsan Omakase dinner by an awesome chef, and Tongyeong with it's delicious seafood! I loved learning about all the history of each city and our tour guide was Jae himself! Also traveling with us was Gyte, Jacob, and Junho from Goodmate travel...all fabulous people! I would highly recommend this tour to those of you wanting a little bit more than just the big cities!

💜 I had a wonderful time with Goodmate Travel on my first trip to Korea. I went on the "BTS Tour with Kenji" and it was great to meet fellow BTS ARMY of all ages and nice to not have to plan or worry about a thing! We traveled to multiple cities to locations where BTS shot album covers, BTS members' ate at, HYBE hq, etc., and more, including karaoke. Busan was my favorite location because it is a beautiful city on the coast. It is where Jimin's dad's cafe is - his dad happened to be there and we got to shake his dad's hand! Thank you to Sarah, Jimin, Minjae, Jae, and all of Goodmate Travel for researching and thoughtfully preparing the tour/answering questions; to Kenji for hosting and insight, as well; to the experienced bus driver; the tour guides at Gyeongju and Gwangjang Market; and the tour guide and photographer at Gyeongbokgung Palace. The tour guide at Gyeongju took the time to tailor the regular tour to specifically note places of interest for BTS ARMY! The luxury bus had a big screen tv to view BTS content and it had a great sound system. There is a lot of walking, uneven terrain, and stairs but you can let Goodmate Travel know your abilities and modify accordingly. The same goes for food restrictions/preferences which is appreciated. There is an itinerary with options for some free time so you don't have to partake in everything if you are too tired, etc, and we even went to locations outside of the itinerary based on tour attendees' recommendations. Recommend Goodmate Travel and would choose them again on other tours they offer and even the same tour, again. 💜
